Global society is taking steps towards the abolition of animal testing and the MingFai Group supports such endeavor.
Whilst we recognise the unavoidable exception of sold in countries where animal testing on cosmetics or cosmetic ingredients is required by law, or UK and EU REACH legislation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & Restriction of Chemicals) , MingFai wishes to continue to encourage suppliers to test for safety using non-animal testing methods.
In our development of products, our policy is to not conduct animal testing unless it cannot be avoided due to lack of availability of alternative methods, regulatory requirements or other similar reasons. But MingFai is not directly involved in animal testing (including sensory testing on animals) and we fully appreciate and share the public concern for animal welfare in research and in safety assessments of chemicals. We strongly support the principle of the 3 Rs: to Replace, Reduce and Refine animal experiments.
We work to minimize the use of animals while also complying with specific and varied regulations around the world. We are committed to creating a Cruelty-free world.
